Merry Christmas! 

I hope you and your loved ones take some time to slow down and celebrate the true blessings of this season. We are hosting family this year, and nothing makes this mama bear happier than having my boys and loved ones all piled in under the same roof. 

Amid all the festivities, we must also take the time to reflect on the true meaning of Christmas – the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and God’s love made visible to the world. As a mom, I am so grateful for the opportunity to share my faith with my boys and see the magic of Christmas through their eyes (even though they may be too old to believe in Santa now)!

1 John 4:9: “This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him."

As we gather with loved ones this holiday season, we must not forget our servicemembers, first responders, and law enforcement who are sacrificing precious time with their families so we can safely enjoy time with ours. To those who are serving our nation and our communities this Christmas: Thank you. I am keeping you and your families in my thoughts and prayers this holiday season.
