Gifts, family, hot chocolate by the fire — it's the Christmas season! But when
we peel away how the world wants to define Christmas, we are left with a single
truth: the Savior of the world was born in a manger, and the salvation of the
world was underway!





As we spend time with family, enjoying all that God has blessed us with, we
look back to the Prophet Isaiah who proclaimed a hope to come. A hope that has
come


For to us a child is born,
to us a son is given,
and the government will be on his shoulders.
And he will be called
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Of the greatness of his government and peace
there will be no end.
Isaiah 9:6-7
