John, this time of year is a perfect time to slow down and reflect, spend time with your loved ones and enjoy family traditions. I’m excited to have a few days to spend with my family.

But I know a lot of folks just have to check out this time of year. Parents need a rest, students need a breather, and people who have been carrying too much deserve a break.

I get that. I also know that worry does not take a vacation. When families are one medical bill, one layoff, or one broken water pipe away from crisis, peace of mind matters more than ever.

That is why I am running for Governor. As Lieutenant Governor, I have traveled to all 72 counties every year and listened to people from every corner of our state. I am not a career politician. I am a nurse, a small business owner, and a working mom who knows what it means to juggle hard choices and keep going.

I wake up every day with the same goal: making sure every family across Wisconsin gets a fair shot, no matter their ZIP code, background, or bank account. That means affordable healthcare, safe communities, strong schools, and leaders who actually show up when people need help.

That’s not just my job, it’s where my heart is. ❤️
