I wanted to reach out to you one final time before the holidays to ask directly:
Right now, the Democratic establishment in Congress is less popular than ever before:
Even as Trump guts Medicaid, Medicare and Social Security. Even as he buries the Epstein files and barrels us towards war in Venezuela. Even as he keeps letting his corporate buddies raise our prices.
AIPAC and other lobbies spend big in Democratic primaries against us because they want to elect the weakest, corporate politicians into the bluest, most Democratic seats.
This is exactly why we need to replace weak, ineffective Democrats in the 2026 primaries, so we can turn this around and create an opposition party people believe will actually fight back. This is our opportunity to clean house, John.
Our current slate of 8 working-class fighters is relying on our grassroots support at the start of the year. In order to prepare for AIPAC and their friends in competitive Democratic primary elections coming up as soon as March, these progressive champions are relying heavily on support from this team as they take on out-of-touch, Do-Nothing Democrats with corporate war chests and personal fortunes.
That’s why we can’t afford to wait until after the New Year to send our full support to these campaigns. They don’t have time to spare, and neither do we.
To give our Justice Democrats the best possible chance of defeating their corporate- and AIPAC-backed opponents, we need to reach our fundraising goals now. Because without enough grassroots resources heading into 2026, we won’t be able to compete with the deep-pocketed megadonors who are already trying to drown out our voices.
Reflecting on this year makes it clear that while there’s so much at stake, we have so much to gain if we fight back. John, I’d be incredibly grateful if you’d be among the few who step up to chip in $5 to support Justice Democrats fighting back at this pivotal moment while the establishment plays doormat.
