Dear Friends:
Focus on the Family hears from a lot of people who say they don’t know how to connect with elderly loved ones. Old age makes many people uncomfortable. They don’t understand how to connect with elderly people.
Author Isabel Tom, who I spoke with on the radio program, can help. She grew up with her paternal grandparents, “YeYe” and “Mama,” who lived in the bedroom next to hers. They were 71 and 68 respectively when Isabel was born, and Isabel lived with them for the first 26 years of her life. YeYe died at age 98 and Mama died at age 102.

This program is part of our “Best of” programs for 2025, airing throughout the month of December.
Isabel Tom’s book The Value of Wrinkles: A Young Perspective on How Loving the Old Will Change Your Life is available for a gift of any amount. Click here for more information or call 1-800-A-FAMILY (232-6459).
And when you help Focus on the Family today with a gift, your donation will be DOUBLED for twice the impact in helping others through this ministry. Our thanks to generous donors who’ve made that possible.
Thank you — and Merry Christmas!
Yours in Christ,
