As we gather to celebrate the birth of Christ with friends and family this Christmas, we are reminded of the true meaning of this season: God’s profound love for humanity. From my family to yours and all of those across Texas’ 27th District, I wish you a Merry Christmas.
While our modern world can often be distracted with material pursuits or fleeting pleasures, Christmas offers us the opportunity to pause and reflect on the countless blessings and gifts in our lives. Through His Son, God also gives us a chance this Christmas to recognize the profound joy, and redemption that the birth of Christ brings to the world. Christmas is a season of renewal, and this year, I pray that you cherish your time with loved ones and neighbors in recognizing the shared bonds and faith that unite us.
“But when the fullness of time had come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to ransom those under the law, so that we might receive adoption.” - Galatians 4: 4-5
As we come to the end of 2025, I’d like to take this opportunity to offer my sincere gratitude to you and your families. I look forward to our continued work together in the New Year in making our Coastal Bend a safe and strong community that reflects the very best of the Texas spirit.
