I just wanted to take a moment to wish you all happy holidays!

Right now, it can feel like some in Washington are trying to divide us, to make us hate each other or the cultures we embody, but I want you to know: I'm here fighting for every single person in our district, for every community, every family, and every tradition.

I've always seen this season as a chance to pause and appreciate the strength we find in one another no matter what holidays your family celebrates. Progress doesn’t happen without people coming together to fight for it.

For my part, I'm going to hit the ground running next year to win back the House, fight for an economy that is more affordable, and defend the promises of democracy. I can't wait to see how your own determination adds to the movement. The holidays, after all, teach us that one person can make an incredible difference — whether that be Santa, the heroine from your favorite Hallmark movie, the person tasked with making dinner, an elf who wants to be a dentist, etc.

Wishing you joy, peace, and a fantastic time with the people who matter most to you this season.
