The 12 Days of Christmas. The majority of that song is just birds and jewelry, and I don’t know anyone who wants birds and jewelry for Christmas. There are swans and geese and doves...when you look at that song, it’s just a series of increasingly terrible Christmas gifts. Feliz Navidad is the best Christmas song ever.
What’s harder, writing political jokes for America in an election year or writing family-friendly material for a holiday show while everyone is stressed out?
I think it is much more difficult to write a stress-free holiday show when people are stressed than it is to simply acknowledge everything that is stressing people.

Not only is Die Hard a Christmas movie but Die Hard 2 is also a Christmas movie. In fact, near the end of the movie Dennis Franz’s character looks at Bruce Willis and literally says it’s Christmas time.
