Trump administration set to garnish wages for student debt collection in 2026
Joe Biden did his darndest to implement once-in-a-generation student loan forgiveness during his time in office but was repeatedly thwarted by Republicans and conservatives alike who are always more than happy to hand out multi-billion-dollar bailouts to one well-heeled industry or another when tough times fall on their shoulders. Welp, today we have news that Donald Trump will imminently begin garnishing the wages of millions of Americans struggling to repay their student loans. Let's hear it for the party of FaMiLy VaLuEs™, eh? We certainly won't be holding our breath, but tonight sure seems like the perfect time for three ghosts to pay a little visit to our nincompoop-in-chief for some long-overdue heart-to-chest-cavity talks.

VIDEO OF THE DAY: Epstein files reveal new information on late pedophile's many co-conspirators
For years, one of the most troubling, unanswered questions surrounding Jeffrey Epstein has been this: if hundreds or even thousands of girls were trafficked, raped, and assaulted by the late pedophile and his accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell for decades, where are the criminal charges for everyone else? That question, of course, is the basis for every assumption that the US government has been enabling a second tier of "justice" for those who commit heinous crimes, because certain officials are more focused on protecting their wealthy, powerful friends than actually holding savage criminals to account. Brian Tyler Cohen discusses the ramifications of the latest document dump from the DOJ and what it might mean for the many, unnamed co-conspirators who willingly and enthusiastically participated in Epstein's sex-trafficking operation. May they sweat profusely and never sleep soundly.

Trump regime sanctions Europeans it claims are part of the "global censorship-industrial complex"
The Trump administration — which, at this very moment, is engaged in one, incredibly long and aggressive redaction campaign to cover up whatever the hell it doesn't want made public from the Epstein files — just announced visa sanctions against several British and European figures it has accused of engaging in the "extraterritorial censorship of Americans." Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs, Sarah B. Rogers, detailed the sanctions and their targets, which include a former European Commission official who got into a public spat with Elon Musk after he threatened to fine Twitter, and the leaders of several NGOs and nonprofits that monitor hate speech and online disinformation. One sanctioned individual, Imran Ahmed, who leads the Center for Countering Digital Hate (CCDH), had previously called for social media networks to deplatform twelve American anti-vaxxers, including Robert F. Kennedy Jr. It's all starting to make sense, isn't it?
Supreme Court keeps Trump’s National Guard deployment blocked in Chicago area, for now
The Supreme Court on Tuesday refused to allow the Trump administration to deploy National Guard troops in the Chicago area to support its immigration crackdown, a significant defeat for the wannabe dictator's ongoing efforts to sic the US military on peaceful American cities to help his administration meet it's draconian and deeply immoral deportation goals. The justices declined the Republican administration’s emergency request to overturn a ruling by US District Judge April Perry that had blocked the deployment of troops. An appeals court also had refused to step in. The Supreme Court took more than two months to act. Three justices, Samuel Alito, Clarence Thomas and Neil Gorsuch, publicly dissented. Shocking.

Trump's Commerce secretary claims "all" Americans "are going to earn 4.3% more money" because the economy grew by 4.3%
Either Howard Lutnick is actually that stupid or he thinks the rest of us are, because that is simply not how economic growth works. At all.

Epstein survivor who supported Trump now says she's disgusted by him, "would love to see" him get impeached
Not exactly sure what Haley Robson was thinking when she cast her ballot for Donald in the first place, but that's beside the point. During an appearance on CNN yesterday, Robson said, "I redacted any support I’ve ever given to [Trump], Pam Bondi, Kash Patel. I am so disgusted with this administration. I think that Pam Bondi and Kash Patel both need to resign, and I would love to see No. 47 get impeached over this, and I'm just waiting." Samesies.

Federal judge says Trump administration must restore disaster money to Democratic states
And now for a bit of good news. A Trump-appointed federal judge has blocked the administration's brazenly partisan attempt to reallocate federal Homeland Security funding away from blue states that refuse to cooperate with certain parts of the MAGA cult leader's heinous anti-immigrant crusade. US District Judge Mary McElroy’s ruling on Monday solidified a win for the coalition of 12 attorneys general that sued the administration earlier this year after being alerted that their states would receive drastically reduced federal grants due to their "sanctuary" jurisdictions. The Trump regime vowed to fight the ruling, of course, calling McElroy's decision an act of "judicial sabotage."
