John,
Our FEC deadline is just 7 days away, so today I’m kicking off our Official FEC Fundraising Drive. We need to raise $215,000 before midnight next Wednesday — and I’m counting on you to help get us there.
John, I cannot overstate how critical this deadline is. Not only is it our final publicly reported deadline before the Election year, but it's our first time to show Donald Trump that our grassroots movement remains strong despite his launching a sham investigation into me to kick me out of Congress.
This entire year, we have seen Donald Trump flip our democracy on its head. He’s promised to silence critics, crush opposition, and consolidate power. He is openly embracing authoritarian tactics — using his platform to intimidate dissent and rewrite the rules in his favor.
That’s why it’s so important we have leaders in Congress who will hold him accountable — and I am one of those people.
John, I’ve never shied away from holding Trump accountable and defending our democracy. I didn’t shy away when I blew the whistle on him six years ago. I didn’t in November when I demanded he release the call transcript with him and the Saudi Prince, Mohammed bin Salman, after the brutal murder of Washington Post journalist, Jamal Khashoggi. And I don’t plan on shying away anytime soon.
But to keep fighting, I need your help to stay in Congress — especially since Trump is doing everything he can to kick me out.
Strong FEC numbers are the clearest signal we can send to Trump and his allies that our pro-democracy movement is powerful, united, and not going anywhere — no matter their attacks.
