Dear John,

Tonight is Christmas Eve. If you are like me, you are getting ready to pause, spend time with family, and reflect on the miracle born in Bethlehem.

But as I prepare to mark this holy night, my thoughts are not just on joy. They are on a promise.

I think of those who face the same rejection the Holy Family faced 2,000 years ago. Just like there was “no room at the inn” for them, today there seems to be no room in the world for those who dare to speak the truth and defend life, family, and freedom.

This year, we saw that rejection turn into outright persecution:

Paivi Räsänen in Finland, charged with "hate speech" just for tweeting a Bible verse, found no room for her faith in the public square.

Isabel Vaughan-Spruce in the UK, arrested multiple times for the shocking crime of silently praying, found no room for her private thoughts on a public street.

We watched with sorrow as Charlie Kirk, a bold Christian defender of life and family in the United States, lost his life for standing openly in the truth. His witness reminds us that persecution is no longer distant or theoretical. It is now reaching the heart of the free world.

They are facing hate, fines, prison, and even death, simply for defending what we believe.

And that is where my promise comes in.

This Christmas Eve, as I reflect on the greatest gift—Jesus Christ, the Truth, taking on flesh—I commit to something greater: I will not forget their courage. I will not forget YOUR courage.
When I raise my glass tonight, I will be offering a silent tribute to them, and to you, John, for standing firm alongside us.
Because we know the truth: the truth sets us free, and the truth always wins.
Our movement is one of the inns that says YES. We are the place where truth-speakers find protection, support, and a voice. We ensure that Paivi, Isabel, and all the others know they are never alone in their darkest hour as they defend life, family, and freedom around the globe.
That is the mission you make possible.
As we look toward the New Year, my personal plea is this: Will you renew your stand with me? Your support is the shield we use to protect the persecuted and launch the campaigns that secure their freedom.
Tonight, let us remember that the light shines brightest in the darkness. Thank you for being the light with us.
Merry Christmas Eve,
Ignacio Arsuaga and the entire CitizenGO Team
