Dear John,

As Christmas Eve arrives, we wanted to end this month with something a little different - a heartfelt message from our team to you.

Earlier this month, we shared our [Festive Eco-Guide]([link removed]) - an invitation to celebrate more thoughtfully and tread more lightly on the planet. Today, we’d like to take a moment to reflect on why those choices matter.

We’ve recorded a special Christmas Eve reading of our retelling of ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas’, a hopeful reflection on excess and the need for us to work together to protect our planet and population.

This poem captures what motivates us every day: the belief in a fairer, more sustainable world - and that together, we can help create it. And we can only achieve that vision thanks to the commitment of people like you.

Thank you for every action you’ve taken this year, every conversation you’ve sparked, and every gift that has fuelled this vital work. Your support is a light of hope in a world that needs it more than ever.

For inspiration on how you can continue making meaningful changes this season, please download our [Festive Eco-Guide.]([link removed])

Wishing you a peaceful, meaningful, and sustainable festive season.

With gratitude,

The Population Matters Team

P.S. If our poem or eco-guide sparked ideas for you, we’d love you to [share your festive eco-tips with us]([link removed]).
