It’s the most wonderful time of the year. A time usually reserved for family, the annual return of Michael Bublé and Mariah Carey, and - because I’m a Church of England priest - a glass of something fizzy after midnight mass. Tommy Robinson has decided to weigh in on the birth of the baby Jesus. And it’s as strange as it sounds. Against a backdrop of Union Jacks, around 1,000 people recently attended a carol service in central London organised by Robinson and his ‘Unite the Kingdom’ group, claiming to be ‘putting the Christ back in Christmas’.
