This week, federal prosecutors confirmed what Minnesotans have feared for years:
Half or more of the $18 BILLION billed through Minnesota state programs since 2018 may be fraudulent.
That’s over $9 billion stolen from taxpayers.
Let that sink in.
According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, this fraud spans at least 14 separate state programs, including Medicaid, housing assistance, autism services, and disability care. Criminals literally traveled from out of state because, in their own words, Minnesota was “a good opportunity to make money.”
That doesn’t happen by accident. It happens when one-party control, weak oversight, and media silence create the perfect environment for abuse.
I’ve been fighting this corruption head-on.
I’ve introduced legislation to force transparency, require real data-sharing, and finally give federal watchdogs the tools they need to shut fraud down before billions disappear. I’ve demanded answers from Governor Walz. I’ve pushed back when Minnesota Democrats tried to dodge accountability.
And now, the truth is coming out.
But here’s the reality: the Democrats who allowed this to happen, and the Minnesota media that ignored it, are already working to protect themselves. They don’t want reform. They want this story to fade.
