 Fellow American – let me introduce myself. My name is Adam Steen, and I am running to be the next governor of Iowa. I want you to know my story, and if it resonates with you, I would appreciate your support today. I grew up in Indianola, Iowa, where my parents taught me the importance of faith, hard work, and serving others. After graduating, I played college baseball on a scholarship and was drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies.  When my baseball career ended, I knew it was time to return home to Iowa and build my own small business, as well as start a family. My business leadership led to my recruitment to work for the Governor's office, where I reduced waste, streamlined processes, and delivered projects on time while never losing sight of the government's responsibility to serve the taxpayer. Fellow American, I want to do the same thing as the Governor of Iowa. Our state is stronger than ever, but that doesn't mean we can sit back and relax. We must continue to engage, work, and fight.
