John,
Last week, House Republicans passed a healthcare bill that leaves millions of families at risk by refusing to extend Affordable Care Act tax credits that help people afford coverage.
When those subsidies expire on January 1, premiums will rise, and families will lose insurance. That is the reality facing more than 20 million Americans.
Instead of lowering costs, Republicans pushed a bill that keeps politicians between patients and their doctors and makes it harder for people to get the care they need, including restricting access to abortion. This wasn’t an accident. House Republicans have now voted 13 times against extending ACA tax credits, repeatedly choosing higher premiums over affordable care.
We need a serious healthcare agenda. One that lowers costs, protects coverage, and gives people real choices, including a public option so Americans can choose Medicare if they want it. Healthcare should serve patients and families, not political ideology.

I’m running for Senate because Massachusetts needs leadership that treats healthcare like the urgent issue it is and fights for affordable, accessible care for everyone.
If you’re with me, can you chip in $15 or whatever you can today to help us take this fight to the Senate?
