John, what is this feeling? Is it HOPE?! 😮
Yesterday, Emily asked about your hopes for 2026 [[link removed]] , and your responses are giving us that hopeful feeling that’s been missing for too much of the past year 😄
A few of our faves:
• Marilyn from Renton hopes for “complete change in this government leadership to one of competency, compassion, and justice.”
• Ronald from Bremerton hopes that “Democrats retake the House and Senate and this Administration starts being held accountable for their lawlessness.”
• Elizabeth from Tacoma hopes for “an expansion of union rights and a better life for working people.”
• Beatrice from Tracyton hopes for “less turmoil, good news, less hate, less fear, and exiting the grocery store for less than $100.00.”
Now, it’s your turn. Please share what you hope for in 2026 – and together, we can turn it into a reality!

John,
With a few days left in the year, I am asking you to fill out our quick end-of-year survey.

I don’t need to tell you that 2025 has been a tough year (that’s an understatement).
My first year in Congress was one of the wildest and strangest in American history. But the active, consistent engagement from supporters like you was a bright spot.
Whether you came to town halls, responded to surveys, or replied to emails like this one, you truly embodied the saying: “Democracy is not a spectator sport.”
As we close out the year, here are a few of my hopes for 2026:
🌟 We will end the GOP healthcare crisis and bring down health insurance premiums for millions of Americans.
🌟 My Republican colleagues will start acting like the Republicans I grew up with – committed to the Constitution, not any one person.
🌟 We will elect a new generation of Democratic leaders: folks like Jo Mendoza, Manny Rutinel, Marni von Wilpert, Denise Powell – and maybe even a Democrat in the Yakima Valley!
🌟 My neighbors will be safe from ICE abuses, and every person in the Northwest Detention Center will be treated with respect and dignity.
🌟 And of course, in November 2026, we will take back the House, replace Speaker Mike Johnson, and get to work for working people. (That includes campaign finance reform!)
Those are a few of (the MANY) things on my mind – how about you? Take our one-question survey about what you’re hoping for in 2026 → [[link removed]]
Thank you so much for everything you do 💙

Emily Randall is proud to represent Washington’s 6th District in Congress. She grew up in a working-class Union household in Port Orchard and was the first in her family to attend college. After serving in the State Senate and passing nearly 200 bills, Emily made history in 2024 as the first queer Latina elected to Congress.
Now, Emily is fighting for WA working families in D.C. and organizing to take back the House. Can you chip in $6 or any amount and join our team?
