THIS IS A MOVEMENT, NOT A SPECTATOR SPORT

Thank you for showing up when it would have been easier to tune out. Thank you for believing that our politics doesn’t have to be this broken. And, thank you for helping prove, once again, that there is a growing community of Americans who want solutions over slogans and people over parties.

WHAT WE BUILT TOGETHER THIS YEAR

2025 was the year Forward refined and scaled the model.

We didn’t just grow, we built real infrastructure : state leadership, ballot access, organizing capacity, and a candidate pipeline that proves independent-minded leadership isn’t a niche idea. It’s a national force.

Forward-aligned elected officials serving across 24 states.

candidates endorsed in 2025 with 26 wins.

candidate applications submitted since January 1, 2025

EXPANDING THE MAP

Forward’s footprint expanded meaningfully in 2025 .

We now have ballot access in Arizona (via the Arizona Independent Party), Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, South Carolina, Utah, and Minnesota, with additional political entities or recognized status in California, Massachusetts, New Mexico, Nevada, North Carolina, and Texas.

Our strongest “turbo-charged” states, with robust leadership and organizing, include Maryland, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, and Virginia, while dozens more states are accelerating or emerging with new leadership teams.

This is how durable movements are built: state by state, community by community

CANDIDATES AND LEADERS TO KNOW

Forward is attracting serious, credible leaders who take governing seriously and believe collaboration beats chaos.

This year, we were proud to elevate candidates like:

A GROWING, DIVERSE MOVEMENT

Forward is powered by people, and that base grew significantly this year:

Our committees now include nearly 1000 active members, spanning veterans and military families, women, young Forwardists, Black voters, Hispanic and Latino voters, with new AAPI and Native American initiatives launching in 2026. College chapters expanded to campuses from Rutgers to BYU, Cornell to Duke, and beyond.

A MOVEMENT, NOT A MOMENT

What makes Forward different isn’t just what we believe, it’s how we show up.

This year, we saw Forwardists, Forward Democrats, Forward Republicans, and independents working side by side. We saw first-time candidates step forward and experienced leaders choose courage over comfort. We saw volunteers knock doors, text voters, host meetups, organize campus chapters, build coalitions, and create community in places where politics had previously pushed people apart.

Forward candidates and supporters showed that Americans don’t want more chaos or culture wars, they want leaders who take governing seriously and are willing to work with anyone to get results.

GRATEFUL FOR YOU

Politics can be exhausting. We know that. And the fact that you chose to invest your time, energy, and trust in Forward means more than we can adequately put into words.

LOOKING AHEAD

We’re entering the new year with clarity, confidence, and momentum.

There is more work to do — more candidates to recruit, more voters to reach, more barriers to break down — but we are stronger because of what we built together this year.

If 2025 showed us anything, it’s this:

Thank you for believing in something better.
Thank you for helping prove that people-first politics can win.
And thank you for moving this country, and our democracy, forward.

With deep gratitude,

The Forward Party Team
