john,
I've sounded the alarm on Robert F. Kennedy Jr. many times, john, but this latest news should concern everyone.
In an unprecedented move, RFK Jr. and his panel of anti-science extremists have just eliminated the recommendation that all newborns receive the Hepatitis B vaccine. Once again, he's working to stop parents from giving the care their children need at their most vulnerable stage of life.
I want to be very clear: RFK Jr. is anti-vaccine. Period.
At his confirmation hearings, he pledged to "follow the science," but every action he has taken since has been a slap in the face to decades of medical research and public health progress.
As a pediatrician, I've given the Hep B vaccine to countless newborns. I've sat with new parents, answered their questions, and reassured them with the facts: This vaccine is safe, it's effective, and it protects children from a harmful and potentially lifelong disease.
Anyone who tells you otherwise is simply wrong. And that includes RFK Jr. When leaders choose ideology and conspiracy theories over evidence and children's health, real people get hurt. We need leaders who will fight for our kids, defend science, and put the health of families first.
That starts with flipping the House and putting a check on this administration before more damage is done. If you're with me, chip in today and help us do exactly that:
