** Dear John,
------------------------------------------------------------
** Sometimes a single case tells a much bigger story.
------------------------------------------------------------
** In Washington State, a family operates two Korean-inspired women’s spas, rooted in cultural tradition and designed specifically for women and girls, some as young as 13.
------------------------------------------------------------
These spas are women-only for a reason.
They include traditional Korean bathing and body-scrub practices that require nudity. Privacy is not incidental to the service, it is essential.
Yet the State of Washington says that isn’t good enough.
After a biological male who identifies as transgender was denied access to the women-only facility, a complaint was filed with the Washington Human Rights Commission. The State determined that the spa violated public accommodation laws by maintaining a female-only space.
Today, Olympus Spa v. Washington is pending before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
At stake is not just one family business - but whether the government can force private, sex-specific facilities to abandon biological reality, religious conviction, and cultural practice in order to exist.
This family did not ask for a fight.
They did not seek national attention.
They simply wanted to continue serving women in a way consistent with their beliefs and traditions.
That is when Pacific Justice Institute stepped in.
Stand with PJI Today! ([link removed])
This case is not isolated.
It represents a growing trend where the government attempts to redefine long-standing norms, and punishes those who do not comply.
Without organizations like PJI, families like this one are left to face the full weight of the State alone.
And cases like this are exactly why PJI is launching the boldest expansion in our history.
When a family-owned business in Washington needs help, PJI must be ready.
When a church in California is threatened, we must be ready.
When a foster family in Oregon is excluded because of their faith, we must be ready.
That is why we are building the 25–50 Vision:
25 attorneys. 50 states. One nation defended.

We are raising $3 million to ensure PJI has attorneys positioned across the country — so no family, church, or individual ever hears, “We can’t help you in your state.”
And right now, every gift given is being doubled through our Matching Grant, accelerating this vision at a critical moment.
