Dear
SPUC supporter,
We have now raised a wonderful 89% of our Advent campaign goal.
I am so grateful to everyone who has given so freely to our babies as we prepare to welcome the Christ Child.
If you haven’t yet given, would you consider helping us to raise the final 11% before Christmas?

I recently heard a beautiful story about Frances Chesterton, the wife of G. K. Chesterton.
Frances loved Christmas and every year she wrote new Christmas poems or stories.
One year she wrote a play for young children called The Christmas Gift.
In this tale a soldier returns home to his wife and children on Christmas Eve, bringing with him an orphaned child.
His wife takes the baby into her arms, accepting the boy as her own. As she does so one of the children asks, “Is he the Christ Child?”. “Oh darling, who can tell?”, the mother replies.
Those words moved me deeply.
At Christmas we welcome the baby Jesus into the world, as did the angels, the shepherds, and the magi.
But not everyone welcomed Him. He was born in a manger because there was no room for Him in the inn. King Herod tried to kill Him.
During the Christmas Octave we will remember the Holy Innocents, those children were killed by Herod in Christ’s place.
Today it is the same for our unborn children. Some are welcomed with love and joy, and others with rejection and death.
Yet, as we welcome the Christ Child, so let us welcome all children into our hearts as though they were Christ.
Amen I say to you, as long as you did it to one of these my least brethren, you did it to me. (Mt 25:40)
SPUC’s mission is to welcome all unborn babies into this world, and to love and protect them all, without exceptions.
If you support this mission, please make a gift to SPUC this Christmas.
(If you have already given to our campaign – thank you!)

P.S. The 89% raised so far will help us begin 2026 on a strong footing. If we raise the final 11%, our current campaign plans will be fully funded.
We are fighting hard against assisted suicide and abortion to birth. We cannot afford to fall short on cash.
Please do make a donation today if you able to.
May God bless you!
