| Dear Friend, |
|
Trump’s EPA is moving ahead with a rule that would strip federal protections from millions of acres of wetlands and streams. If they succeed, waterways that support drinking water supplies, wildlife habitat, and flood protection would be exposed to toxic pollution, industrial buildout, and long-term damage.
|
| This attack would gut the Clean Water Act at its core. For more than fifty years, the law has kept countless communities safer by placing clear limits on what polluters can dump into the waters we all depend on. Rolling back those safeguards gives industry exactly what it has pushed for: fewer rules, higher profits, and no accountability for the harm left behind. |
| The deadline to submit your comment is January 5. This is your final opportunity to add your voice and make it clear that the public will not accept a rule that sacrifices our waterways for corporate gain. |
| Earthjustice has gone to court to defend clean water — and we have won. But to challenge this rule effectively, we need a strong public record showing that people across the country oppose dismantling these protections. |
