On behalf of the NJDSC, we are pleased to announce that we are launching a comprehensive new Workplace Culture Program.

Democrat,

On behalf of the NJDSC, we are pleased to announce that we are launching a comprehensive new Workplace Culture Program. This initiative is designed to address systemic disparities in how people of color, women, the LGBTQ+ community, people with disabilities, and others have historically been treated in New Jersey politics.

The launch of the Workplace Culture program, which will include trainings and a review of the party’s policies, makes NJDSC one of the few political party organizations or campaigns in New Jersey that has taken this kind of direct action to ensure an equitable and fair workplace.

Chairman Currie, Governor Murphy, and their teams have played an integral role in the creation of this initiative. At every stage of planning, they have made it clear that making this program a success and providing the resources needed to make a real difference in political workplace culture is a priority.

We believe that the Workplace Culture Program can become a model for local and county organizations and other state parties to confront the issues of racism, misogyny and homophobia that have permeated politics for decades too long. For more details about the Workplace Culture Program, please visit our website

NJDSC is looking forward to what the future of this program holds.

Thank you,

Saily Avelenda
NJDSC Executive Director
