COVID-19 cases are spiking across Florida, and if things keep going as they have been, it will just continue to get worse.

The epicenter of the cases is in Miami-Dade County -- the county of Debbie’s opponent, Carlos Gimenez.

With tens of thousands of cases and well over 1,000 deaths in his county alone, we need to call on him to instate stricter social-distancing rules and get control of his county’s COVID-19 outbreak. Will you add your name with ours demanding he starts putting our citizens’ lives first?

Carlos Gimenez has shown through his inaction that he will clearly put Trump’s partisan agenda ahead of the people he’d represent. This is not leadership, this is a self-serving attempt to get into Trump’s good graces at the expense of Floridians.

His inability to lead his county not only shines a light on his inability to lead in Congress but has come with the price tag of human life. We need to keep him out of Congress, but right now we need to focus on keeping the people of his county alive.
