| Hello John,
As the holidays approach, I’m reflecting on an astounding statistic: At least 170,000 U.S. troops are expected to spend this season away from home.
As you open gifts, visit with your family, and prepare to ring in the new year, many are missing loved ones.
This is because service doesn’t pause for the holidays, especially not for the men and women who are serving around the world, from the United Kingdom to Iraq.
That’s why I’m asking you to join me in thanking them.
I’ve created a brief message to express our gratitude and remind those deployed that their sacrifice is acknowledged and deeply appreciated. Please hit share so your friends can remember those who serve, too. | | | | That’s not all, though.
We recognize that when they come home, their mission continues.
Veterans strengthen their communities, serve their neighbors, and stand up for good governance and accountability — carrying the same integrity and commitment that defined their service.
That’s why we amplify their voices: Because veterans’ unique experiences and perspectives are rooted in a dedication to service, their country, and their fellow citizens.
🎄 This season, take a minute to honor those who won’t be home for Christmas. 🎥 Watch my message For America, | | | | | John Vick Executive Director Concerned Veterans for America | | | | |
