The Atlantic: Donald Trump’s Plan to Subvert the Midterms Is Already Under Way [[link removed]]
John, that headline from The Atlantic says it all.
Donald Trump already promised last year that “w e’ll have it fixed so good, you’re not gonna have to vote .” Watching his actions after he lost in 2020 -- lies, denial, rallies, all leading to January 6th -- it's not hard to imagine what he's got in mind for next year.
Our states run our elections. But that doesn't mean that MAGA-aligned politicians won't follow his illegal orders to interfere. It doesn't stop him from using ICE agents to intimidate at the polls or threaten eligible voters. And it doesn't stop his Department of Justice from trying to interfere through the courts, especially when more than half of the suppressive lawsuits brought to court this year were brought by the very federal department that's supposed to protect our rights.
None of that takes into account the highly partisan efforts for mid-decade redistricting as well. It's clear that the threats to the next election aren't going to stop. That's where we come in.
We must inform voters, defend our elections, and make sure every eligible vote counts. Chip in with $25 or whatever you can today to fuel our voting rights work for 2026 and beyond >> [[link removed]]

Our democracy, our elections, and our fundamental right to vote have been under attack for more than a decade. Our electoral system is reaching a breaking point, and it's hard to predict exactly where the next set of electoral shenanigans will come from.
Are we destined to watch our elections break down? Absolutely not. We still have the time and the people to win. What we need most is the resources to carry on this fight for our democracy and the work to make every voice heard in our elections.
Stopping their attempts to subvert the midterms will require courage and integrity across the board. Most of all, it will depend on individual Americans like us to stand up for our rights and demand that our votes are counted.
This is a fight we can and will win. Stand with us to protect the right to vote by pitching in with $25 or whatever you can today >> [[link removed]]

Integrity First Voter Action Project is dedicated to expanding ballot access and increasing voter participation across the country.
Since the Supreme Court gutted key provisions in the Voting Rights Act, extreme politicians have taken advantage to pass harsh laws that restrict access to the ballot box. These restrictions particularly affect disadvantaged communities and people of color. It’s our goal to bring awareness to these laws wherever they may crop up and organize voters to take action to ensure the right to vote is available to everyone in their states and communities.
