MADISON — Gov. Tony Evers and First Lady Kathy Evers today shared a video message wishing Wisconsinites a merry Christmas.
The governor and first lady’s video message is available here, and a transcript of the video message is available below.
Governor: Hey folks. Governor Tony Evers here.
First Lady: And I’m First Lady Kathy Evers.
Governor: We wanted to take a moment today to wish all of those celebrating a very merry Christmas.
Governor: Whether you’re baking cookies and watching Christmas classics at home...
First Lady: Or traveling to visit loved ones near and far, the holidays are all about spending time together, celebrating our favorite holiday traditions, and making memories with those we love most.
Governor: It’s also about spreading joy and hope and sharing the gift of giving with others.
First Lady: We could all use a little more joy and hope this holiday season.
Governor: So, whether it’s delivering meals, donating to a local nonprofit organization, or a simple act of kindness, or checking in on a friend, making sure that they’re okay, let’s spread more joy and hope this holiday season.
First Lady: And no matter how you’re celebrating this Christmas, we hope you are safe, healthy, and warm, and spending the holiday with those you love most.
Governor: From our family to yours, we send our warmest wishes and wish you a safe and happy holiday.
