My name is Jamie Ager, and I’m running for Congress in North Carolina’s 11th District. I’m honored to be endorsed by the Blue Dog PAC this cycle.
I’m a fourth-generation farmer, a father, and business owner. I helped build a sustainable meat company that now supports 25 employees and partners with dozens of family farms across our region. For my entire career, I’ve worked to help families put food on the table.
Public service runs in my family. My grandfather served in Congress and helped shape early programs like Medicare and Medicaid. My father served in the same State House seat that my older brother represents today.
So when I watched my Congressman, Chuck Edwards, vote to cut Medicare just to give another tax break to billionaires, I knew I couldn’t sit on the sidelines. Western North Carolinians deserve better.
