You probably know this by now, but we’re short on our fundraising this month. So, I’m asking you to dig a little deeper to help us reach our ambitious goal of raising $20,000 this week.

I’ll give you three good reasons:

1. July is an extremely difficult month for fundraising because folks are logging off to enjoy the nice weather (and rightly so!) and they’re just not paying attention to what’s going on as much.


2. As you can imagine, that leaves us in a bit of a pickle as we approach our first end-of-month goal of the new quarter — which is why my team and I decided to set a weekly goal of raising $20,000 before midnight on Friday to get on track.


3. Small-dollar contributions of $5, $10, or whatever you can afford to give will go a long way in helping us hit our ambitious target. We wouldn’t ask if it wasn’t true!
