I won't mince words -- I'm writing this email to ask you to make a donation to the DSCC.
I promise you, I wouldn't ask you without a good reason, John… and by now, I have plenty. Here's the long and short of it: Donald Trump is dismantling our country piece by piece.
🗳️ He's attacking voting rights.
From signing an unconstitutional executive order that would disenfranchise millions of eligible voters, to plotting to ABOLISH mail-in ballots, Trump is working to weaken the cornerstone of our democracy.
🩺 He's hiking up health care costs.
His "Big, Beautiful Bill" axed BILLIONS from Medicaid and Medicare, forcing reduced coverage for those who need it most.
🍞 He's gutting SNAP benefits for MILLIONS of Americans.
Trump's budget bill will cut food assistance for the elderly, families with children, and countless others.
🏛️ He's weaponizing our legal system.
Since day one, Trump has used the Department of Justice to try and punish his perceived enemies and protect his MAGA enablers.
🗣️ He's eroding our freedom of speech.
And he's proud of it -- in Trump's own words, "We took the freedom of speech away."
Like I said before, Trump is dismantling our country piece by piece, and we MUST fight back. One of the best ways to do that is to elect a Democratic Senate majority that will put a stop to Trump's worst actions before he destroys our democracy.
Trump and his enablers want us to feel powerless, but here's the truth: there's power in numbers. When we work together, even when it's hard, we can make real, lasting change.
