Celebrating the CRB's
25 Year Anniversary
A quarter-century of showcasing conservative thought
Dear John,
This year, the Claremont Review of Books celebrated its 25th anniversary.
For a quarter century, the CRB has been the indispensable journal of serious conservative thought—publishing the deepest, most elegant, and most fearless essays on politics, culture, history, and the American regime.
In an age of noise and haste, the CRB has remained a place where ideas still matter and where the permanent things are defended with wit, learning, and courage.
In November, we marked this milestone with a sold-out gala dinner gathering friends old and new to honor the writers and readers who have sustained this great enterprise since its first issue in 2000.

A LANDMARK DOUBLE ISSUE
We close this anniversary year with a historic double issue—the largest in our history—arriving in mailboxes this December.
Among its many highlights:
- Charles Kesler ([link removed] ) opens our double issue with a reflection and celebration of 25 years of the Claremont Review of Books.
- Christopher Caldwell ([link removed] ) returns with an essay on the new mayor of New York.
- Helen Andrews ([link removed] ) provides a moving essay on the life and legacy of Charlie Kirk, and what's to come.
- New essays and reviews from Nathan Pinkoski, William Voegeli, Vincent Phillip Muñoz, Spencer Klavan, Christopher Flannery, Barry Strauss, and many more of our finest contributors.
None of this would have been possible without the loyal subscribers and supporters who have stood with us since Volume I, Number 1 ([link removed] ) .
