I wanted to take a moment to wish you a happy holiday season and send a heartfelt thank you from me (and all of us) at Roe Your Vote Virginia.
Because of your support, the last three years have been truly extraordinary. In 2023, we helped elect abortion-rights champions, secure Democratic majorities in both the House and Senate, and show, clearly, that Virginians support reproductive freedom.
This year, we built on that momentum and helped make reproductive rights the defining issue of the November elections. With you by our side, we celebrated historic victories across the ballot, including Virginia’s first woman governor, the first Muslim woman lieutenant governor, and the first Black attorney general — leaders who have long stood up for reproductive rights and will bring integrity and compassion to their offices.
When Roe fell, I launched Roe Your Vote Virginia because I knew I couldn’t sit on the sidelines. From day one, the goal has been simple: elect leaders who will protect our freedom. Thanks to you, we’re now one step closer to making abortion rights permanent in Virginia’s Constitution.
There’s a lot of work ahead as we head into January, but for now, I just want to say how grateful I am to be in this fight with you. Your support means more than I can say.
