John – “Ghost guns” are the newest deadly threat used by prohibited gun buyers and white supremacists to incite violence on our streets and in our communities.

They’re hand-built, untraceable guns that evade state and federal firearm regulations and require NO background checks. In less than 15 minutes, anyone with the right blueprints can build a fully functional weapon that’s almost impossible for law enforcement to trace. And their use is on the rise at a startling rate – accounting for nearly 40% of crime guns recently recovered in states like California. 

Brady is fighting to take action on ghost guns because it’s time we regulate this dangerous loophole – but we’re falling WAY short of our midnight goal to keep it up. We can’t pass life-saving laws to regulate ghost guns and prevent senseless violence until we defeat the NRA and Mitch McConnell. We’re up against their millions and it won’t be easy – but there’s some good news: Mitch McConnell is in a STATISTICAL TIE with his opponent, and we CAN end his stranglehold on gun safety legislation in November:
