John,

We’re now in the final week of our $1 million matching challenge, and this is your last chance to have your gift doubled.

Just in the last week, Illinois' Governor Pritzker signed a bill legalizing assisted suicide and New York's Governor Hochul voiced intent to sign their bill as well. While these decisions are discouraging, the battle is not over.

We need your help to fight in new states that will propose assisted suicide laws next year, but also to fight states with existing assisted suicide laws like California, Colorado, and Delaware.

Right now, every gift is matched 1:1 by two generous donors, up to a combined total of $1 million, through December 31.

That means:

- Your $40 becomes $80 to equip advocates in states where legislation is introduced

- Your $100 becomes $200 for defending patients' rights across the country

- Your $250 becomes $500 towards future lawsuits where we will seek to overturn assisted suicide law

Please don’t wait. Your support in this final week will help determine how strong we are in the year ahead.

DONATE TODAY!

With gratitude,

Matt Vallière

Executive Director
Institute For Patients' Rights

*This match is for any new or increased gift over last year's donation.

The Institute for Patients' Rights (IPR) is a 501(c)(3) founded to conduct research, educates the public, and work to expand and implement tools of empowerment for older adults, people with disabilities, marginalized persons, and their families to combat policies and medical practices that devalue some people’s lives, putting them at great risk of deadly harm, as with assisted suicide laws.
