One day, Identity’s workforce specialist visited his class to share career opportunities in the automobile industry through a partnership with Chevy Chase Acura. Marvin, who has always loved cars, lit up. The specialist helped him prepare for an upcoming job fair at Identity—building a new résumé and practicing interview skills. That evening, Marvin's Case Manager stood by his side, even teaching him how to tie a tie before he walked into the room.
Marvin’s story, drive and passion so impressed the Acura recruiter that he invited Marvin for a second interview and offered a job that day. Because Marvin was still so young, he started working part-time until he could obtain his driver’s license. Now 18, Marvin is working at Chevy Chase Acura full time and attending GED classes, working hard on his goals to be a good provider and a great father. |
