Dear John,

The last time a Democrat won a presidential election in Texas was 1976, and Texas hasn't had a Democratic Senator in 27 years.

In 2018, Beto O'Rourke came within three points of breaking the Republican streak in Texas. With your help, MJ Hegar can finish what Beto started and help us take back the Senate this November.

MJ won her primary runoff last week, and now she faces a head-to-head race with Mitch McConnell's top ally in the Senate. A combat veteran and working mom, MJ is committed to representing all Texans in Washington and will help take the Senate in a new direction.

MJ Hegar has what it takes to flip Texas and bring Democrats one step closer to control of the Senate, but she needs our help to sustain her momentum. Will you split a contribution of any amount, so we can help win this seat and take back the Senate?

MJ is an Air Force combat veteran who earned a Purple Heart after her plane was shot down by the Taliban in Afghanistan. When she completed her military service, MJ led the successful fight to overturn the outdated rules that kept women from serving in ground combat positions. Her advocacy helped open up hundreds of thousands of jobs for women in the military.

As Senator, MJ will be a voice for Texans and for all Americans. She will protect our environment, fight for better health care access, and stand up for working families.

Will you help MJ flip the Senate and turn Texas blue? Pitch in $5, or whatever you can, and help us take back the Senate!
