Dear John,
Merry Christmas 2025
And here’s to a happy New Year. Bring on 2026!
Christmas brings out the best in families. Family reunions, time to
relax, and a chance to slow down after a big year.
A massive thank you to all our emergency workers who are patching
people up over the Christmas holiday season. We respect the work you
do and send you our sincere thanks.
One Nation has built from strength to strength this year, with
unparalleled growth and a huge uptick in support.
But the story of the year has been our memberships, which
have quadrupled since May.
Thank you to each and every member who has gotten behind us this
year. It’s your turn now to relax, have a beer, and enjoy Christmas,
because we have a lot ahead of us in the New Year.
This wave of new members, which now places our party firmly in
major party status, is not just evidence of growing support. It is
evidence that our party is now properly resourced to man booths across
the country and conduct full campaigns in 150 seats.
Party members bring talented candidates. Great candidates who may
once have sat on the edges are now stepping forward, confident they
have a complete and professional infrastructure behind them, with
people on booths and teams on the ground.
That is why we are so grateful.
If One Nation were to offer a “Person of the Year”, Time
Magazine–style, it would be our membership base, which has grown well
beyond expectations.
This year, every one of our elected representatives has stepped up,
and we are deeply thankful. From Sean Bell, who took over from Warwick
Stacey following his retirement due to illness, to Tyron Whitten in
Western Australia, Malcolm Roberts who keeps the Queensland powerhouse
going, and our leader Pauline Hanson. A massive thank you to all our
state and federal representatives for the work you do and for backing
our party’s efforts.
A very warm welcome to Barnaby Joyce, the member for New England,
who joined us in the last few weeks. All of these members are
supported by highly competent teams, and we owe them our gratitude as
well.
Lee Hanson has come on board this year, and one of the most
heart-warming moments of 2025 has been watching the pride every time
Pauline introduces her daughter.
James Ashby, One Nation’s Chief of Staff, has dropped more than a
few broad hints about new recruits in the New Year. Expect
action-packed newsletters.
James Ashby’s tireless efforts in building our party, expanding
outreach, developing policy, and keeping our elected members connected
to One Nation HQ are deeply appreciated. Pauline Hanson has often said
James has been a tower of strength, and there is no doubt our party
would not be in the strong position it is today without Pauline’s
right-hand man.
Our hearts go out to the families of the December 15th attacks. You
are in our thoughts. Each and every action our party takes in 2026
will be focused on ensuring their memory isn't forgotten, as we seek
to make Australia a happier, safer place, free from division. United
under one flag.
