We’re disappointed, but not surprised.

Justice Democrats

Did you see this, John?

Screenshot of a New York Times headline reading: 'The D.N.C. Is Scrapping Its Report on What Went Wrong in 2024.' The subheadline reads: 'Ken Martin, the Democratic National Committee chairman, ordered the autopsy months ago but is now said to believe that its release would be counterproductive for the party.'

That’s right: after promising to listen, reflect, and research what went wrong to hand Donald Trump and MAGA Republicans a trifecta in Washington last November, the Democratic National Committee (DNC) is shelving its post-election report.

As usual, we’re disappointed but not surprised. The Democratic establishment has learned absolutely nothing.

Until Democratic leaders are willing to take on — not cash in — their corporate and billionaire mega-donors, stop enabling a genocide on behalf of the Israel lobby, and start prioritizing the working class, they can’t expect the people to trust in or vote for them.

That’s why Justice Democrats is working to clean up shop in the Democratic Party by supporting progressive candidates in the 2026 primary elections, including Melat Kiros in Colorado’s 1st district.

A post on X from Melat Kiros for Congress, CO-1 (@MelatKirosCO) reads: 'This BS is why my generation is stepping up and running. We cannot afford another cycle of Dem leadership that patronizes and ignores the will of its voters. We won in November in spite of the establishment and we’ll do the same in ‘26. It’s time to clean house.' It is quoting a post from Shane Goldmacher (@ShaneGoldmacher) reading: 'NEWS: The DNC is killing off its 2024 autopsy. DNC Chairman Ken Martin has decided not to publish a public report, believing that a backward-looking document would be counterproductive as the party has started winning....'

But if we’re going to clean house and create the Party we deserve, our slate of eight primary candidates needs an influx of grassroots support NOW before the primaries begin in March.

Can we count on you to chip in $5 or more to help us send eight more Justice Democrats to reshape the Democratic Party in Congress next year?
