Jamie Ager is a father, business owner, and fourth-generation farmer who has spent his life growing food, building community, and working alongside his neighbors.
He knows what it takes to support local businesses, lower costs for working families, and stay loyal to your communities.
Jamie was raised on his family’s Hickory Nut Gap Farm, where he learned the values of hard work, public service, and looking out for one another. Those values run deep in his family: his grandfather served in Congress and the state legislature and helped shape early programs like Medicare and Medicaid. His father also served in the State House.
Chuck Edwards has taken a very different path. He voted to cut Medicare to fund massive tax breaks for ultra-wealthy billionaires, putting North Carolina families at risk.
