John, it's Brad, and today I'm reaching out with a very important announcement: ⬇️
Our End of Year Fundraising Deadline is coming up after the holiday weekend, and we need your help!
But before I start asking you for money, [[link removed]] let me explain why exactly a deadline like this is so important for our campaign.
For any political campaign, and especially a Congressional one, there are various fundraising deadlines that the campaign bases its strategy on.
Some of them are internal End of Month Deadlines, which are used to internally budget for the future and keep the campaign on track.
Some, on the other hand, are all-important End of Quarter Public Reporting Deadlines. These are deadlines where the fundraising numbers of a campaign are legally required to be reported and then publicly announced.
Basically, it means that all of the nerds ( it takes one to know one ) who make a living talking about politics get to look at our numbers and make a snap judgment on the strength of our campaign.
Well, John, the end of the first month of our campaign just so happens to line up with one of these Public Deadlines, the End of Year Deadline to be more specific.
So when you come back from the holiday weekend, you're going to get a flood of emails and texts from candidates asking you for money. But for our campaign, this is even bigger than a normal reporting deadline.
This is our first deadline, period . This is the first chance since launch day for us to show off the strength of our campaign, and I want your help to put on a show for all the political observers looking for an early temperature check on this race.
John, we're well aware of the fact that my opponent is…let's just say, well-funded 😉. Can you help me send him and everyone watching this campaign a message by chipping in to help us smash our End of Year Fundraising Goal before our numbers go public? [[link removed]]

Brad is an organizer who brings neighbors together to win big fights, and a problem-solver who gets things done.
He’s been fighting for his neighbors for decades – as a dad, a housing organizer, our City Councilmember, and our Comptroller. He’s a proven legislator whose laws deliver for working people. In Congress, he’ll fight for all of us.
Brad is running for Congress because at this urgent moment, we need leaders who will fight, not fold.
Fight against an authoritarian federal government that is abducting our neighbors.
Fight for a New York that is affordable and welcoming for everyone.
Fight for an economy that isn’t stacked against us.
Fight to make government actually deliver on the promise of the American dream.
