Join SisterLove, Inc. for our annual Youth Conference, HLYASS! This year, HLYASS will be VIRTUAL! HLYASS, or Healthy Love Youth Advocacy Statewide Summit is August 17-23 and will be virtual. Registration is now open! Youth ages 16-25 can register for FREE. Why should you attend HLYASS? (1) Several renowned policy and reproductive justice advocates from Georgia and from across the country will conduct virtual workshops on topics that fall into the following three categories: Healthy Relationships, Organizing for Power, and Policy and Advocacy. (2) The summit will also serve as an official public forum for invited state policymakers, legislators and commissioners to engage in dialogue about HIV and other Reproductive Justice (RJ) concerns for young women of color. (3) Each HLYASS participant will earn a certificate of completion establishing them as a Healthy Love Youth Advocates. (4) Participants will have an opportunity to practice their advocacy after HLYASS by partnering with SLI in strategy efforts which will include a policy agenda created during the week-long conference.
