Hi there,

As we head toward the end of the year, I want to take a moment to reflect and to look ahead.

This has been a hard year for many of us. Costs continue to rise, health care premiums are exploding, and the GOP cuts to essential programs like SNAP have left thousands struggling to get by. Too many people are working harder than ever and still feel like they’re being left behind.

I see the consequences of the crumbling Trump economy every day. As a physician, I know how detrimental it can be when someone delays care because they can’t foot the bill. As a Congressman, I know how hard the cost of living crisis has hit people here in South and Central Jersey.

That’s why as we look ahead into the new year, I’m more committed than ever to the fight to bring down health care costs, lower prices, and protect programs that families rely on. There is real work to do to get our economy back on track and make the government actually deliver for the people we serve.
