I'm not a career politician. I'm an educator and advocate rooted right here in Northern California. I learned from my time growing up on a farm and waiting tables in Chico that you have to roll up your sleeves and get to work when the system isn’t working. I’ve carried that value through my career as an educator, a nonprofit leader, and now, this fight to be the true public servant Northern California deserves in Congress.

Grit is what drives this campaign. It’s what we need to send a working-class leader to Washington next November, and it's what we need to prove our grassroots power.

We have to raise the final $25,000 before the end of the year to show the entire nation that our people-powered movement is strong, energized, and ready to win.
