Trump raises end to mail-in ballots after claiming Putin questioned their security
FIRST, Trump signed an executive order
banning mail-in voting after taking advice from his authoritarian friend.
He's been watching special election after special election where districts he won by double-digits just a year ago are being flipped red to blue.
SO THEN, Trump told Republican states to bend to his will and sacrifice the democratic voice of their people by
gerrymandering their Congressional districts.
But still it hasn't been enough because Californians fought back with new maps, Missourians petitioned to veto their MAGA redistricting, and judges struck down an unconstitutional map in Utah.
BUT NOW, he's going a step farther by signing another executive order
mandating voter ID which he knows states can manipulate to disenfranchise Americans.
Path to Progress is a no-holds-barred, youth-led multimedia organization working to advance progressive policy goals and hold politicians accountable through digestible digital content and groundbreaking policy proposals.
After the first month of Trump's second term, we became the first organization to call for his impeachment. Our petition demanding Congress begin impeachment proceedings has reached thousands of signatures. Trump's attack on birthright citizenship and subversion of Congress's powers are blatantly unconstitutional and constitute high crimes and misdemeanors. We're telling every Member of Congress: decorum can wait, but democracy can’t.
We are the only progressive think tank led by Gen Z for Gen Z.
Path to Progress will support candidates and policies which are both viable and, more importantly, friendly to Gen Z. We will produce content and publish policy proposals that show our frustration with systemic issues while encouraging actionable steps to increase youth voter turnout and ensure that election winners are as progressive as possible.
