To our friends and supporters,
This has been another difficult year for Israel and the Jewish people. As threats have intensified, EMET’s resolve and clarity of purpose have strengthened. EMET exists to protect the shared values of America, Israel, the Jewish people, and Western civilization. We have met misinformation and rising hostility with truth, moral clarity, and action—building bridges and delivering clear, fact-based analysis to policymakers, media, and the public.
As the year comes to a close, we are pleased to share this report of EMET’s 2025 activity and the tangible impact made possible through your generosity and support.
On behalf of the EMET team, thank you for helping us make an impact this year!
** EMET 2025 Impact Report
------------------------------------------------------------
Educating Policymakers and Countering Misinformation in Washington
EMET conducted 215 educational briefings with Members of Congress, Members of the Senate, and senior staff from both parties. These briefings focused on: U.S.–Israel relations and regional security trends, Iran’s internal dynamics and external threat network, antisemitism, extremism, and ideological radicalization.
Through these briefings, EMET provided 1) Issue Education & Strategic Context: Historical context, expert briefings, timely issue analysis, and research support, and 2) Legislative Analysis & Policy Expertise: Monitoring and analysis of legislative proposals related to Middle East security, sanctions, religious freedom, and antisemitism, and providing explanatory materials summarizing objectives, background, and potential implications.
The Impact
* We improved the quality and depth of internal congressional deliberations, helping offices better understand complex Middle East and national security issues at critical decision points.
* We countered misinformation and ideological distortion with rigorous, fact-based analysis during moments of heightened polarization.
* We reinforced and sustained support among longstanding allies at a time when assumptions of automatic alignment no longer hold.
* We bridged critical knowledge gaps and placed key legislation on the radar of offices that would not otherwise have engaged with it.
* We deepened bipartisan understanding and recognition of the democratic values underpinning the U.S.–Israel relationship and Western civilization.
Delivering Trusted Information Across Media Channels
EMET hosted 50 public webinars featuring scholars, former officials, journalists, and regional experts addressing topics including: Iran's internal dynamics and regional activities, antisemitism and extremism in the West, and media literacy and misinformation about Israel. Each webinar episode had an average of 250 attendees tuning in.
EMET’s weekly newsletters delivered curated analysis, expert commentary, and educational resources to more than 14,000 subscribers; and EMET staff and fellows published approximately 50 original articles in leading national and international outlets that provided analysis and commentary grounded in EMET’s research and educational mission.
The Impact
* We helped audiences navigate an increasingly distorted media environment by providing reliable, fact-based analysis from credible experts across multiple perspectives.
* We expanded EMET’s reach and influence through placements in JNS, Jerusalem Post, Times of Israel, Washington Times, Israel Hayom, and The New Republic.
* We elevated the quality of public discourse, ensuring those evaluating critical policy decisions in Washington had access to accurate, nuanced, and trustworthy information.
Amplifying Leadership and Strengthening Community
EMET hosted the annual Rays of Light in the Darkness Awards Dinner, convening more than 400 leaders, policymakers, and community members.
The Impact
* We elevated courageous leaders who demonstrated moral clarity in public discourse on Israel and the Middle East, and amplified their voices.
* We expanded EMET’s network and cultivated emerging leaders, particularly younger audiences, strengthening the organization’s capacity for long-term impact.
* We reinforced EMET’s influence and relevance through media coverage of the event.
** Why Your Support Is Needed Now
------------------------------------------------------------
The coming year will be pivotal.
Antisemitism is becoming more normalized, misinformation more sophisticated, and hostility toward Israel more entrenched, both on Capitol Hill and in the public square. At the same time, critical policy decisions are being shaped now that will impact Israel, Jewish communities, and U.S. foreign policy for years to come.
EMET is uniquely positioned to meet this moment, but we cannot do it without you.
Your year-end gift ensures EMET can:
* Maintain a consistent, on-the-ground presence in Washington
* Expand outreach to lawmakers and emerging allies
* Respond rapidly to breaking developments with credible analysis and action
* Continue building bridges that shift narratives and strengthen shared values
This work cannot wait. The stakes are too high and the window to influence outcomes is now.
Your support today ensures that EMET remains strong, present, and effective when it matters most.
