Friend, I've got a serious question for you: Do you oppose gerrymandering?
Because right now, Texas politicians are using it to rig our elections, silence voters, and hold onto power – and your voice, when used alongside thousands of others, has the power to change that.
Will you add your name to oppose Republicans' partisan gerrymandering and demand fair maps in Texas and across the country?
TX-33 is a racially gerrymandered district. It was drawn with the intent to protect politicians – not represent people.
A federal judge has already said these maps are deeply flawed and discriminatory by design. But Republican lawmakers pushed them through anyway, knowing exactly what they were doing: diluting the voices of Black and brown Texans and trying to lock in power for years to come.
Before I ever ran for office, I was a voting rights lawyer, because I believe democracy only works if everyone gets an equal say. That's why I'm running to represent TX-33, and why when I get to Washington, I'll fight for a federal ban on gerrymandering once and for all.
If you agree that politicians shouldn't be allowed to pick their voters – and that Texas deserves fair maps and equal representation – I hope you'll be one of the 10,000 people I need to add their name today.
Together, we can protect our democracy and make sure every vote truly counts.
Thank you.
