Hi Friend,

As we look toward the year ahead, one thing is clear: the attacks on DC’s autonomy, workers, tenants, immigrants, and low-income communities are not slowing down. And neither are we.

This year, we launched Keep DC Healthy to defend the DC Healthcare Alliance—honoring a 25-year commitment to healthcare for all, regardless of income or immigration status. We trained dozens of community members on their rights as workers, tenants, and immigrants rights. We kept eyes on the street, supported rapid response efforts, pushed back against federal militarization, and helped bring national pressure to make it clear: a vote against DC autonomy is a vote against democracy.

Behind the scenes, we supported the movement in all the ways that make organizing possible—strategy, coordination, interpretation, trainings, outreach, and yes, even chart paper and endless copies. We also continued our tradition of lifting up movement leaders through the I’ll Be There Awards, honoring organizers who have led critical fights for working people across DC.

None of this work happens without you.

As the year comes to a close, we’re asking you to invest in the people power that makes all of this possible. Your end-of-year gift to DC Jobs with Justice helps us organize, defend our communities, and meet the challenges ahead with strength and solidarity.

Will you make a donation today to sustain this work into the new year?

Thank you for standing with us, this year and every year. Together, we will continue to protect DC’s legacy of care, compassion, and unrelenting organizing.

In Solidarity,
Damiana Dendy
