Tonight, Mannie the lion sleeps under the open skies instead of the small enclosure where he once lived alone in a zoo in the Netherlands.

After losing their mother to poachers, Alexandra (pictured above) and her siblings found refuge at the Libearty Bear Sanctuary—a lifesaving second chance at safety and peace.

Two years after her rehabilitation and release, Cecilia, the giant anteater, was spotted carrying a newborn on her back. She is a symbol of survival, renewal, and hope.

And Lizzie the pig, along with her new friends rescued from factory farms, can finally bask in the sun and roll in the mud. Safe and free to be the animals they were meant to be.
