John — Roy Cooper’s opponent Michael Whatley and Ebenezer Scrooge aren’t that different, except for one thing:
By the end of the story, the greedy banker in A Christmas Carol turns his life around after learning the true value of generosity, kindness, and service to others. We can’t count on Whatley to do the same.
Michael Whatley says he would have voted for Trump’s health care cuts “in a heartbeat.” We can’t send him three ghosts who will persuade him to change his ways, but YOU can send a powerful message TODAY: Donate to Roy Cooper’s campaign for U.S. Senate and show Whatley he can’t drown our movement in MAGA money >>>
When we look at Whatley’s actions toward North Carolina voters, it’s clear how much of a Scrooge he is:
❄️ He supported legislation putting 690,000+ North Carolinians in danger of losing their health insurance due to steep Medicaid cuts.
❄️ He opposed capping insulin costs for seniors.
❄️ He thought we shouldn’t extend health care tax credits, even though letting them lapse would double insurance premiums for the average North Carolinian.
Every time he has a chance to help North Carolinians, Michael Whatley’s answer is essentially the same: Bah! Humbug!
John, experts are saying this is one of the top races to watch for all of 2026. We need YOUR help to prove that in the end, greed and cruelty don’t pay — and we’ve GOT to meet our end-of-quarter fundraising deadline. Can you donate today? >>>
