***Curious about which bills I have introduced this Congress?***

On the legislative front in 2025, I introduced and advanced bills that strengthen our national security, protect taxpayers, and support our veterans and energy independence.

My MERICA Act, which the House passed this month, was a major victory for American energy dominance and national security. This bill breaks our dangerous reliance on Communist China for critical minerals like lithium by opening up federal lands for domestic extraction right here at home, unlocking vast reserves and aligning with priorities to boost domestic mineral production.

I’ve also worked hard on other key measures, from the SAFE Supply Chains Act to shield our defense technology from foreign adversaries like China, to the bipartisan Federal Cyber Workforce Training Act, to the Veterans Mental Health and Addiction Therapy Quality of Care Act to ensure our heroes get the best possible care. 

Additionally, I pushed to rescind wasteful offshore wind tax credits, protect AI and cloud competition in defense contracting, safeguard American innovation, and reform the D.C. Attorney General appointment process – a bill that passed the full Oversight Committee.

Beyond legislation, I led letters supporting permanent U.S. bases in Eastern Europe, calling for investigations into campus ties to Hamas, and standing up for Red River Army Depot in Texas' Fourth District.

As a whole, House Republicans had a successful year passing the One Big Beautiful Bill which delivers the largest tax cut in American history for middle- and working-class families as well as no tax on tips, overtime, and social security. It also permanently secures our borders, ensuring our communities remain safe.

Additionally, the FY26 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) was passed. This year's NDAA advances President Trump's Peace Through Strength Agenda by:

• Bolstering our cyber workforce and improving resiliency across the defense sector
• Codifying 15 of President Trump’s executive orders along with 30 legislative proposals to restore our military’s focus on lethality and projecting strength
• Streamlining DoD support for border security priorities
• Helping restore America’s defense industrial base
• Strengthening our supply chains, especially for critical minerals
• Delivering a well-deserved 3.8% pay raise for our troops
• Securing $93 million for Red River Army Depot
• Investing $35.5 million in hypersonics development at Texas A&M

Red River Army Depot Visit: Earlier this month, members of my staff were welcomed at Red River Army Depot for a tour of the facilities with Under Secretary of the Army, Mike Obadal. This was his first visit since his appointment to the position, marking the importance of this program.
